What Lawdship is
Lawdship is a Delhi legal services practice with its office at G-36, Lower Ground Floor, Block G, Nizamuddin West, New Delhi 110013. We work with a panel of advocates enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi who practise across the Delhi district courts, the Delhi High Court, the Supreme Court, the tribunals sitting in Delhi and the district courts of the National Capital Region.
Most people who contact us are not looking for a lecture on the law. They have received a notice, a summons or an FIR, and they want to know three things: whether this is serious, what it will cost, and what happens next. Everything we do is organised around answering those three questions quickly and without hedging.
How we work
- We read the papers before we quoteAn assessment based on your documents costs you nothing and takes very little time. Quoting before reading is guesswork.
- We tell you when you do not have a caseA matter that is out of limitation, or where the cost of pursuing it exceeds the recovery, is worth knowing about at the start.
- You know who is handling your matterThe advocate assigned to your case is identified to you at the point of engagement, along with their enrolment particulars.
- You are told what happened on every dateNot chased for it. The commonest complaint people have about litigation in India is silence, and it is entirely avoidable.
Our panel
Our panel advocates are enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi and practise across criminal, civil, matrimonial, commercial and regulatory matters. Advocates are assigned by area of practice and by the court in which your matter is listed. The name and enrolment particulars of the advocate handling your case are provided to you at the point of engagement.
We do not publish individual advocate profiles, case results or success rates on this website. The Bar Council of India Rules restrict advocates from advertising or soliciting work, and we consider claims of that kind inappropriate in any event.
Where we are
Our office is at G-36, Lower Ground Floor, Block G, Nizamuddin West, New Delhi 110013, open Monday to Sunday, 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. Most matters are handled without you needing to visit, but you are welcome to come in by appointment.
