Who we are

This website is operated by Capavance Private Limited, a private limited company incorporated in India, which trades as Lawdship. Office: G-36, Lower Ground Floor, Block G, Nizamuddin West, New Delhi, Delhi 110013, India.

Capavance Private Limited is the data fiduciary for the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, write to contact@lawdship.in.

What we collect

  • Your name, phone number and email address, when you provide them
  • The description of your matter and any documents you choose to send us
  • Basic, aggregated website usage data, collected without cookies

Why we collect it

Solely to respond to your enquiry, to assess your matter, and to provide legal services where you engage us. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Legal basis and consent

We process personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you contact us, and for the legitimate purpose of providing the services you have asked for, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Who we share it with

With the panel advocate assigned to your matter, and with courts, tribunals and opposing parties only to the extent required to conduct your case. We do not share personal data with anyone else except where required by law.

Cookies and advertising measurement

This website sets no cookies by default. Where we run advertising campaigns on Google or Meta, those platforms use cookies to measure which advert brought you here. Those cookies are set only if you accept them on the notice shown at the bottom of the page, and never before. If you decline, no advertising cookie is set and the platforms receive nothing about your visit.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which makes the notice appear again.

Campaign parameters

If you arrive from an advertisement, the link may carry campaign parameters identifying which advert you clicked. Where you then send us an enquiry, that campaign reference is attached to it so we know which campaign it came from. It identifies the advert, not you.

Retention

Enquiry records are retained only for as long as needed to respond and to meet our professional and legal obligations, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

You may ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it, by writing to contact@lawdship.in. We will respond within a reasonable period.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and you should avoid sending highly sensitive material through the website form.

Governing law and jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Saket, New Delhi.
